Seguinte,

""" Thinking in Python Petition

To: Bruce Eckel

Bruce Eckel is known to be an Object-Orientation Programing, C++, Java and Python guru. He is also known to be author of famous books such "Thinking in C++" and "Thinking in Java". It is public that he started to write "Thinking in Python" by the year of 2001, but never finished it.

Besides he claimed many times that he loves Python and I think that it is probably his preferred programing language. I don't know why he never finished writing it, but probably because he (or his editor) imagines that the C++ and Java's audiences are much bigger than Python's. Thus, it is more rentable (existe essa palavra?) to write and republish those books.

That is exactly the reason why this petition exists: to show that the Python comunity is actually big enough to encourage him to finish the book, and who knows start another like "Thinking in Zope" or anything else related to Python.
